Sea views, a pool, the High Rock pub and restaurant, and two private paths straight down to the sand. Book your unit online in a few minutes.

An unhurried corner of the South Coast

GreenHart Village Estate sits above the beach at Palm Beach, midway between Trafalgar and Port Edward. It is quiet, green and properly secure — the sort of place where children still cycle to the pool on their own and nobody locks a bicycle up.

We let a small, carefully looked-after selection of the units inside the estate. Every one is fully furnished and ready to walk into.

What is on the estate

Two private beach accesses

The estate opens directly onto the sand at two separate points, so the beach is a short walk rather than a drive and a parking hunt.

Swimming pool

The estate's own pool, just behind High Rock, with toilets alongside it — so an afternoon there does not mean walking everyone back to the unit. There is a shallow pool beside the main one, and the default plan for the hottest part of a Palm Beach day, with somewhere to get a cold drink a few steps away.

High Rock Pub & Grill

A pub and grill on the estate, with its own owners — they rent the premises from GreenHart and run it themselves. Somewhere to eat when nobody feels like cooking, a pool table and a covered braai deck, and the swimming pool directly behind it.

Superette & laundromat

A shop and a laundromat share the block at the top of the estate, under one owner who rents the premises from GreenHart. Milk, bread, ice and the things you forgot to pack without going through the gate — and somewhere to wash the salt and sand out mid-stay, which is welcome on a longer holiday and essential with small children.

Lawns and a play area

Open lawn between the units and the sea, with a jungle gym, a slide and a shaded lapa — close enough to keep an eye on from a deck chair.

Secure estate access

Controlled access to the estate, so the kids and their bicycles have room to roam.

When to come

June – July

The Sardine Run

Millions of sardines move up the coast, followed by dolphins, sharks and diving gannets. Often visible from the beach itself.

June – November

Whale season

Humpbacks migrate past the point. On a clear morning you can watch them breach from the sun room without getting out of your chair.

December – January

Peak summer

Warm water, long evenings and the estate at its liveliest. Book early — December fills first and stays full.
